Running for Port Moody City Council with a Product Approach to Politics and Climate Action

Hello! I know it's not directly Product related, but for so long Product BC has felt like my community, so I can't help but invite you all! I'm taking a Product approach to Politics, and running for city council in Port Moody. My hope is that the lessons I've learned from a product career - discovery of needs, negotiation between stakeholders, prioritization amongst challenging trade-offs, and clear communication of the results - will help my community. 😄 And if you're in the area (or want to travel) you're most welcome to come to my launch party on Saturday from 4pm to 6pm!! We've got cool buttons. 😆 Not in the area, but think this is a cool thing I'm doing? Help pay for more buttons! (and pamphlets, and lawn signs, and perhaps even digital ads?) The overall goal is to take an approach to climate topics that treat it as the emergency it is - while also trying to tackle the affordability crisis we face. Not a small feat!
