Hi Jackie, hope you're doing well and Thanks for relaying this. I was trying to sign up as a mentee but the link on ProductBc's website does not seem to work for me (screenshot attached), upon inspecting the source for the webpage, looks like its a plain span HTML tag instead of an href link or url. Please advise. Thanks
let me take a peek
Should work now!
hi Jackie Ho - I have registered on Pairwise. I want to be a Mentor (I am a Product BC member as well). The interface on Pairwise does not have a method to enrol as such. Will this be handled via the integration with Product BC login(that I was required to connect when joining Pairwise)?
Hi harshad shinde - Thanks for your interest in stepping up as a mentor! When you visit https://productbc.pairwise.app/programs/360313b9-9189-4eb1-8770-0ab205bbb10a/apply, do you see the step I've attached a screenshot from? The "which role are you applying for?" question should be the first one. If it's not there -- or you can't hit that part of the form -- we'll go deeper on debugging.
Awesome. Glad it worked for you, harshad shinde ![]()
Hi Jackie Ho, I am trying to create my account on Pairwise to sign up for the program, but it is throwing me a strange error 'Status is required'. I checked in the sign up flow, there is no field as Status. Can you help me with it.
Same Shikhar Jha I get the same error message Jackie Ho
On it
Shane I think the issue is that the signup flow takes you into pairwise, but you need to separately go back to the email to click the link afterwards.
So, in your experience, the actual application URL didn't persist through the signup flow and then automatically redirect you to the form once you'd joined the ProductBC org? Edit 1: I'm tracing this and might have found the issue Edit 2: Okay, I've seemingly got it sorted. The email verification link now includes an embedded URL that takes the user back to the application page without needing to leave the flow. Excellent catch, Shane! Thank you!
Youki Shikhar Jha - Sorry you're experiencing this bug. When you hit it, were you creating an account via the form where you manually enter your email address, or was it after authenticating with your Google or LinkedIn credentials? (Edit: I think this particular issue is now solved 🤞🏼. Found some buggy code in the auth module.)
